SMRC offers a Refresher Training curriculum for Leaders of SMRC self-management programs. The training is designed for those Leaders who have been performing well, but have not facilitated a workshop within the time required to maintain active status. The refresher trainings review the important processes in the programs (brainstorming, feedback, making an action plan, paraphrasing, etc.).
Leaders may take a Refresher Training facilitated by Master Trainers or T-Trainers locally or, if that is not available, online through SMRC.

Master Trainers and T-Trainers will be asked to view videos and read the training manual, and then submit a form confirming that they did so. This should take about two hours. The orientation webinar will be approximately an hour. After the orientation webinar, Master Trainers and T-Trainers may facilitate small-group Leader Refresher trainings.
Leader trainees will be asked to complete pre-webinar homework which can take up to 4 hours, and attend 1 real time webinar with up to 25 other trainees. Trainees will meet together at the webinar meeting for up to 3 hours.
How do I access the pre-webinar activities?
The training requires that you spend time reviewing training videos and completing training assignments before the webinar. All training activities and videos can be found on the website. After you have registered, you will receive a username and password to access the training site about 2 weeks prior to the webinar. The pre-webinar assignment will be due two business days before the webinar.
How do I access the webinar?
We will send you webinar instructions when we send access to the training site. This email attachment will contain the date and time as well as the other instructions that you will need. There is also a webinar instruction form that you can download from the training site.
